Lindsay Hower Jordan

A native Long Islander, Lindsay's young singing career reaches back to her high school chorale at Loomis Chaffee, and an all women's group at Cornell called the Touchtones (Go Tones!). Inspired by folky musicians like Ben Harper, Patty Griffin, and Alison Krauss, Lindsay loves acoustic guitar and live music. She also gets jazzed by mainstream icons like Pink and U2, and internationally recognized artists including Mana, Pink Martini and Lila Downs.

When not singing with Euphonism, Lindsay manages the major gifts program at an environmental non-profit call Rare. With a background in domestic environmental policy and a few years teaching experience under her belt, Lindsay is a wanderer who enjoys being in nature. She can often be found riding her bike, walking in the woods, exploring DC's farmer's markets and thrift stores, or seeking out far-flung corners of the world to visit.
