Laura McCann

Laura's ultimate goal in life as a child was to be a check-out girl. Readers of this bio might find this puzzling. So, Laura would like to point out that she wanted to be the girl that checks you out at the grocery store. And by "check you out", we mean, scan your goodies...er, groceries. Coincidentally, it was the cha ching and the bada bing of the cash register that awakened her love of music. And money.

She attended Northwestern University, no affiliation to the airline or the region of the continental US, where she decided to join a co-ed group called the Undertones. She was best known for being able to multi-task while singing. She could sing the entire alphabet song backwards in French while being in the Half Moon pose on top of a horse.

Euphonism was so thoroughly impressed with such feats and most of all, her life aspiration of being a check-out girl, that she was the first Euph member to be given the right to act like an idiot without judgement for a week.

When she's not singing with the group, Laura likes to watch Redskins football because she's a homegrown alto (ones that aren't homegrown just aren't that nice to look at or listen to), ride horses (she really likes being green), kidnap small furry animals, and play with her purple clay dreidel.

Be sure to approach her at our next show and ask her to show you her Harry Potter tattoo.
